Nano Challa (Agaro, Ethiopia)
Small Producers in the Kata Muduga Union
Citrus, Peach, Floral, The Promised Land
One of the best things about coffees from western Ethiopia is that they're often arriving stateside earlier than their southern counterparts. So that means—you guessed it—fresh Ethiopia is back on the menu! We selected this incredibly juicy lot from the Kata Muduga Union in the western part of the country with help from our friends at Red Fox. The intense sweetness and tart acidity makes for an incredibly dynamic cup of coffee. Think peach tea, with peach gummy rings, and peach pie, all with a little bit of orange zest and some delicate florals.
In light of these strange COVID-19 times, we've made some changes to our roasting routine in an effort to take extra care. For the foreseeable future, roasting will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays only, shipping out Tuesdays and Thursdays. This means your order will arrive one day later than it normally would.
That one-day lag is caused by the decision to stagger roasting and bagging days in order to keep operations as safe and sanitized as humanly possible. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during these challenging weeks.
All of our coffees are roasted to order and shipped as whole beans. Orders are roasted based on demand.
