Worka Danche is a beacon among coffee-producing regions, blessed with an ideal agroecology for cultivating exceptional beans. Picture this: a lush, layered semi-forest, providing a natural canopy for the coffee trees to thrive. It's in this haven that SNAP Specialty Coffee established their wet mill in Chelbesa, strategically close to the Danche village, embracing the richness of this coffee-growing haven. The success was palpable. As soon as the mill was operational, they began sourcing coffee from local farmers, and the result is the exquisite Danche. This coffee undergoes a meticulous process - the beans undergo a 72-hour wet fermentation in ceramic tanks, followed by a thorough wash and soak. The ceramic tanks accelerate fermentation by retaining heat, contributing to the cup's remarkable clarity. The final touch is the 12-day drying period on raised beds, ensuring perfection in every sip.
