Duvis Moreno - Honduras

This is our first year purchasing coffee from Duvis Moreno and his farm, Finca Las Tres Peñas, located in the village of El Cedral in Santa Barbara. Originally a vegetable farmer in El Cedral, Duvis briefly worked as a factory laborer in a nearby city until a serious workplace accident forced him to return home to recover. During this time, he decided to transition into specialty coffee production and transformed his small plot of land into a specialty farm planted entirely with Pacas. This was one of our favorite Honduran samples of the season for its balanced blend of dried fruit, spice, and nougaty sweetness.
