Before you read any further, you ought to go ahead and click "Add to Cart" because this coffee is just that good. This is truly one of our favorite coffees we offer, and even though we spend all year hyping it up, it never fails to wow us on the cupping table. David's farm, Nueva Esperanza, is located near El Cielito, a town in the Santa Bárbara region of Honduras. He's planted mostly Pacas, but there are small numbers of other shrubs, including Bourbon, Catuai, and others. We don't have much of this coffee—just six 69kg bags—so don't wait to get in on this. From year to year we see the flavors alternating from tart pomegranate to juicy concord grape, but the intense sweetness that borders on tropical is really what we find most alluring. Plus the subtle florality that we get from Honduran coffees makes it just that much better.
