David Muñoz (GREEN)

Our first Honduran lot of the season comes to us from David Munoz, a producer who’s been a mainstay on the Tandem menu for nearly a decade. We look forward to coffees from Honduras every year for their special blend of fruited, floral, herbal, and deeply sweetened characteristics — and David’s coffees, in particular, have been an annual highlight. David grows multiple varieties on his roughly 3 hectare farm, Nueva Esperanza, in Cielito, Santa Barbara, but the majority is Pacas, our personal favorite. This 100% Pacas lot is a balanced, versatile, and satisfying representation of the profile: milk caramel sweetness, soft malic acidity, and accents of anise and blackberry.
