You've heard this one before, but David Muñoz's coffee is truly one of our favorites we offer, and even though we spend all year hyping it up, it never fails to wow us on the cupping table. David's farm, Nueva Esperanza, is located near El Cielito, a town in the Santa Bárbara region of Honduras. He's planted mostly Pacas, but there are small numbers of other shrubs, including Bourbon, Catuai, and others. We don't have much of this later harvest coffee—just six 69kg bags—so don't wait to get in on this. From year to year we see dramatic berry flavors, but the intense sweetness that borders on tropical is really what we find most alluring. Plus the subtle florality that we get from Honduran coffees makes it just that much better.
