Description

Daniel Moreno was the patriarch of the Moreno family — a legendary coffee producing family from Santa Barbara — and a pioneering specialty producer in Honduras. During his lifetime, he apportioned pieces of his land to each of his sons; when he died, in 2018, his sons took over management of his remaining farms. To this day, his sons continue to manage his land and sell coffees from his farms in his name. This particular lot comes from one of those farms, La Sierra, and is a unique blend of Pacas and Gesha. Qualities of each variety are present in the cup: the depth of Pacas, the delicacy and florality of Gesha. Expect rounded sweetness and a subtle but pleasant profile of vanilla, yellow fruit, and soft white florals.
