Chelchele (GREEN)

Shitaye Mamo has many titles. She is a wife to husband Mulugeta. She is a mother of three daughters and two sons. She is also a coffee farmer. Her father Momo and Grandfather Shalo farmed coffee for nearly a century and Shitaye carries on the tradition with all that she has learned from those who farmed before her. The experience is apparent. This naturally processed Ethiopian is quite exquisite. Sweet and syrupy blackberry, tangy nectarine, and Sungold ripe off the vine in the summer sun delight the palate.
