Hugo Rojas (GREEN)

If you've been paying attention to our menu at all this year, you've probably seen a coffee called La Piramide, which is a community blend of around 300 producers from the Inzá region of Cauca, Colombia. One of the really great things about working with Caravela, who facilitated this relationship with that producer group, is that occasionally we'll get to sample lots from individual farmers whose coffee has performed really well. That brings us to Hugo Rojas and his delicious lot of Caturra that we cupped just a few short months ago. We tasted a bunch of single-producer lots, but Hugo's lot from his farm El Carmen was clearly our favorite. We're grateful that we can start the new year with offerings like this, and we hope to see a lot more of Hugo's coffee on our menu in the future.
