The coffee is everything that works about a farm blend. The Miraflores is harvested at farms around the Chito area of Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador. Producers maintain similar physical and sensory qualities in their crops across the farms that give coffee to the dry mill. They want to maintain a high flavor standard and make their product easy to blend for export. At the dry mill, the coffee is sorted by size, graded, and blended to create an offering. The desired result is an offering with clean flavors and substantial sweetness. At Tandem, that’s just the flavor profile we’re looking for.
